While there are many things that irk me I will only share one with you at this time and maybe you can help me figure out some things. What gives the person a right to act like they are so much better than others? All of us know at least one person that came from mediocre circumstances only to throw their nose up in the air later in life and act like they are above the "common" people. Does money cause this? So no matter how poor a person grows up if they come into a little money (or marry into it as the case may be) something changes in their mind that makes them think for some odd reason that their crap don't stink anymore. Am I on the right track here? Let me tell you people that are like that a little something. God created us all and just because I might not have the wealth and "community standing" that you do doesn't make me less of a person. And you don't even realize how foolish you look walking around with your attitude, especially when people know exactly where you came from. Now don't misinterpret this as mere jealously, because I assure you it is not. I just believe we should treat everyone based on the fact that we are all God's creations and not because of financial status. Who decided that having money automatically makes you so much better than everyone else anyway?

"I have to agree it doesn't matter how much money you have you are still just one person trying to get along. For those who don't have please remember the ones who do - have their own problem either health, financial, children, or family. For those who do have please remember the ones who don't - have their own problems either health, financial, children, or family. Either way we are just trying to get through this life."

"While I agree that people who act so stuck up are no better than anyone else I must also say not everyone with money is a snob. I know several wealthy people who are nicer than some who have literally nothing. In my experience the ones who have nothing are usually more snobbish & untrustworthy. I don't think money makes anyone better than people with less but, I also do not agree that all people with money are snobbs."

"Those "Wealthy" ones are not always saying they are better than others or smarter than others. They are people like all of us. There is 3 groups here in Lee county, that is the high class, middle class, and low class and which no one has the right to say they are high class or middle class. Everyone belongs to one group, its not like you get out there and won't talk until you ask what class they are. My daughter is a cheerleader, but my other daughter is not involved in any sport. They both have the same friends and they both make good grades and they both date and date. As far as my 35 years here, I never came by a person who would not talk to me because they make more money than me."
