Welcome to a site all about Pennington Gap Virginia and the surrounding areas! Here's just some of what this site has to offer: we have an active message board for you to post anything on your mind, such as your opinion about local happenings, reunion info, info about your family tree, or to discuss just about anything, in the Speak Out Lee County forum (where anonymous posts are allowed), as well as a few photos of the area, and local news headlines that are updated regularly. We've recently added a Local Events Calendar for upcoming events planned throughout the county. Also, we've had a PHS Bobcats tribute page for awhile now and felt that our Jonesville visitors should have a JHS Bulldogs page, so one has been added! And as always, you can still get your own free email address as yourname@penningtongap.every1.net. You can send and pick up free online greeting cards right here too! There IS now an alternative to the Dog Pound in Lee County, but this rescue group needs help, such as volunteers, "puppy petters", foster homes, and of course financial support, or just a bag of dog food. Every little bit helps. They are affiliated with S.O.S. in Richmond, so they are a non-profit group and depend solely on donations, which are tax-deductible. Please take the time to visit this site and see some of these precious animals that desperately need a loving home. They are God's creatures too and they deserve a happy life. Please take a look.
